In order to avoid injury and subsequent serious consequences - wrestlers and athletes should perform with groin protection. A boxing jockstrap is often used by experienced fighters, because the boxing jockstrap protects not only the genitals of the athlete, but also the lymph nodes. When using it, the kidneys are also protected. It can be seen that in most professional tournaments, fighters use the suspensor. This is because of the great "luck" of getting inadvertently hit in the groin area. In amateur tournaments, however, athletes rarely use this type of protection.
