At Fenek Sport, we meet many inspiring women who have decided to step into the world of boxing. They come with different dreams – some want to get in shape, others want to challenge themselves, or simply experience something new. In this series of stories, we introduce a few of them. From Home Routine to the Rhythm of the Ring
Karolína was a stay-at-home mom for many years. She devoted herself to her family, taking care of the home and children, but over time she began to feel that something was missing. “Suddenly, I had everything I ever wished for – peace, a home, a family – but I lacked energy, movement, and challenge,” she recalls.
One day she saw an ad for women’s boxing and signed up without hesitation. “I didn’t want another fitness class with music and mirrors. I wanted something real – a training that would push me to overcome myself.”
Karolína came to us at Fenek Sport to try on equipment even before she joined a boxing club. Sára is a successful entrepreneur. In life and business, she’s a leader, used to winning. But after years in business, she began to miss the adrenaline. “I tried skydiving and shooting ranges… but nothing gave me the inner peace I get from boxing,” she says.
Training has become her ritual: every morning – gloves, bag, sweat – and then a clear mind. “Boxing taught me to stay focused even in chaos – just like in business.” Today, she’s preparing for an amateur match. “I want to show that even a woman in a suit and heels can have the heart of a fighter.”
Escape from the Office
Ruslana works as a sales manager. Her days are full of emails, calls, and stress. “I was burned out, irritated, constantly tired.” When a friend mentioned boxing, she laughed. “Me and boxing? Never.”
A few weeks later, she stood in boxing gloves for the first time. “The first punches on the bag were like therapy. All the tension just disappeared.”
Today, Ruslana has more energy, better posture, and confidence. “Boxing helped me rediscover my self-esteem. If I can handle a sparring match, I can handle an angry client too.”
Modern boxing is no longer just about physical strength. It’s also a path to mental balance, courage, and self-confidence. Women in boxing prove that limits exist only in the mind. Every punch, every training session, every step in the ring is a reminder that strength has many faces – and one of them is female.
